Blasting Machine
Being offered for sale is the antique "HERCULES BLASTING MACHINE" (marked "H 2191" at iron shaft (see 7th pic) and "59" (twice) at interior of back panel (see 9th pic)) with ORIGINAL BRASS NAMEPLATE, from circa the early -to- mid 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES. Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED or your money back...no questions asked!
Good/VG- antique condition with moderate -to- to severe cosmetic blemishes throughout but NO structural cracks, splits, breaks or repairs. Original leather strap handle is broken and missing (see pics). Hardwood & iron construction remains structurally rigid & strong. Looks to be complete and functional but has NOT been tested. May or may not work. Shaft fully extends and engages the gears/moving parts inside. When found, it was missing (1) of the (4) tiny screws holding the nameplate on. We have replaced it with a similar but not perfectly matched screw (see 2nd pic...it's pretty darn close). Being offered as a collectible/display piece only. Outstanding, rich patina throughout! Very rare matching advertising pieces!! See pics.
Measures 6-1/2" wide x 8" deep x 13" tall (excluding handle) & 17-3/4" tall (including handle when at lowest position). Total weight is 23 lbs. 3.5 oz..
PLEASE NOTE: The inflated shipping charges on this item are to cover the high cost of insuring the package at full purchase price. Please take this into consideration and work it into your offer(s).
